Light Tide is a dynamic roots rock band that hails from the vibrant music scene of Sheffield, UK. The band's members include William East (Lead Guitar), Jordan McLean (Drums), Tom Wills (Bass) and Owen Gower (Vocals & Rhythm Guitar).

Formed in 2015, Light Tide created buzz on the scene with their debut album in 2019, and now they’re back with a new singer, a string of singles under their belt and a more energetic, gritty rock style vocals with big guitar riffs and thumping beats. Their sound leans toward Southern Rock passing through Folk Punk and ending up with something like the Black Keys crossed with Jon Butler Trio.

Light Tide's music draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, including rock, alternative, and folk. The band's influences range from classic rock acts like Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin to modern folk icons like Ben Howard and John Butler Trio.

The band will be releasing their new EP “Poets Creatures and Part-time Preachers” in November 2025.​​​
